Frage von blueskys: Frequent flyer miles: is it a better deal to use for merchandise or take the cash?
I have flyer miles that will expire soon. They offered cash for the balance but is it an advantage to use the miles for flights or mechandise? What are the options?

Well, if you have enough miles, then it’s pretty logical to use them (isn’t that the reason you joined the frequent flyer program?). If you don’t plan to take a trip or anything, then take the cash and run. If they let you choose from a list of merchandise, you can do that, too.
Basically, plan a trip or buy some neat stuff.
